In 2012, we opened our new camp on Playa Matapalo. The camp features four Luxury Safari Tents set around a great swimming pool right on the beach. You can book the camp directly or choose one of our packages combining both properties. The beach camp is only a B&B, so you will need to fend for yourselves after breakfast, luckily there are some great little diners on the beach, and we do allow guests to use the kitchen facilites! We offer a kayak tour that takes you from Rafiki to the mouth of the Savegre River, through an old growth mangrove forest right to Matapalo beach. It is a great day tour to see birds, crocodiles, monkeys, and more, but it is also the most convenient way to travel between the main lodge and the beach.
